Unilever is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic team and drive sales growth for our Refreshments (Ice Cream and Beverages) business in the West Region. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) to achieve sales targets, ensuring market share growth, and executing strategic initiatives to enhance brand presence and consumer preference in the region. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership and management skills, a deep understanding of the consumer goods industry, and a proven track record of success in sales and team management.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), coaching, mentoring, and empowering them to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with Unilever's overall sales objectives, considering market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Manage and monitor sales performance across the region, analyzing data to identify trends, develop strategies, and improve sales outcomes.
  • Oversee the implementation of marketing and promotional campaigns, ensuring effective brand positioning and product visibility within the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors and retailers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring effective product placement and merchandising.
