Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Quality Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control within your designated area. You will work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to identify and address quality issues, implement preventive measures, and ensure that our vehicles meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans for assigned production processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential quality defects.
- Analyze quality data and reports to identify trends and root causes of quality issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality problems.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop solutions for quality improvement.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest quality control techniques and technologies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, or a related field) preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control or a related field within the automotive industry (experience can be adjusted based on qualifications).
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, etc.) preferred.
- Proficiency in quality control tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, etc.) preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
