Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual to join our growing Help Desk team. As a Help Desk Specialist, you'll be on the frontlines, providing exceptional customer service to our policyholders through phone, email, and chat channels. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Addressing policyholder inquiries regarding premiums, coverage details, claims processes, and other insurance-related matters.
  • Troubleshooting basic technical issues related to our online portals and mobile applications.
  • Researching and resolving customer concerns efficiently, utilizing internal knowledge bases and available resources.
  • Escalating complex issues to designated teams for further assistance.
  • Documenting interactions and maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  • Adhering to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively listen to customer concerns and identify the root cause of their inquiries.
  • Provide clear, concise, and accurate information in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Research internal systems and resources to find solutions to customer problems.
  • Effectively communicate policy details and procedures in a way that is easy for policyholders to understand.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with customers.
  • Document all interactions and maintain accurate case notes for future reference.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team for further investigation.
  • Adhere to established company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to stay up-to-date on LIC products and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum graduation in any discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet navigation.
