Job Summary:
As a ServiceNow Developer at Infosys, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized ServiceNow applications to meet the specific needs of our clients. You'll work closely with business analysts, solution architects, and other developers to understand client requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and configure the ServiceNow platform to automate processes and workflows.
You'll have the opportunity to leverage your ServiceNow expertise to develop custom modules, workflows, scripts, and integrations. You'll also be involved in unit testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of ServiceNow applications. This role is ideal for a passionate and results-oriented developer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to the success of our clients' digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts and solution architects to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement customized ServiceNow applications and modules.
- Configure ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI elements to automate processes.
- Develop scripts (GlideScript, UI Script) to extend ServiceNow functionality.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems and applications using APIs.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in system integration testing.
- Document code and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow features and functionality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in ServiceNow development or a related IT automation platform.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow fundamentals (CMDB, ITSM, ITOM, etc.).
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting languages (GlideScript, UI Script).
- Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration management (CMDB).
- Experience with API integration is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
