About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement collections strategies to maximize debt recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of collections representatives, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Analyze and prioritize delinquent accounts, determining appropriate collection actions based on bank policies and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and other channels to discuss payment options and negotiate settlements.
• Ensure all collection activities comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Monitor and track team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Generate reports and analyze data to measure team effectiveness and identify trends.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and risk management, to resolve complex customer issues.
• Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes in collections.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in collections or a related field (experience can be tailored based on your preference for freshers or experienced candidates).
  • Proven track record of success in achieving collections goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collections software.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the collections industry (preferred).
