About the Role:
The Collections Manager position is a remote role, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in India. As a Collections Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of collectors in recovering past-due accounts. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement collections strategies to maximize debt recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of collections representatives, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Analyze and prioritize delinquent accounts, determining appropriate collection actions based on bank policies and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, and other channels to discuss payment options and negotiate settlements.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Monitor and track team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Generate reports and analyze data to measure team effectiveness and identify trends.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as legal and risk management, to resolve complex customer issues.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes in collections.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in collections or a related field (experience can be tailored based on your preference for freshers or experienced candidates).
- Proven track record of success in achieving collections goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and coach a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collections software.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in the collections industry (preferred).
