Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants.
  • Develop and implement credit scoring models to streamline the credit evaluation process.
  • Set credit limits and determine loan terms based on a comprehensive risk assessment.
  • Negotiate loan agreements and terms with customers.
  • Monitor existing customer accounts and identify potential repayment issues.
  • Proactively communicate with customers to address any credit concerns and develop solutions for repayment challenges.
  • Manage and collect overdue payments, while adhering to ethical collection practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit transactions.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure compliance with all credit-related policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service, to maintain positive customer relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role (for experienced candidates)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling tools (Excel)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A strong understanding of credit risk management principles
  • Adherence to ethical and professional standards

Experience

This role is open to both experienced and aspiring credit professionals. For experienced candidates, a minimum of 2 years of experience in credit analysis or a related role is preferred. Fresh graduates with a strong academic background in finance and a passion for the banking industry are also encouraged to apply.
