Summary

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing Shipping and Receiving team. As a vital part of our supply chain, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, and preparing outgoing orders. You'll work closely with various departments within Genpact, including procurement, logistics, and warehouse staff, to maintain a seamless flow of goods.

This is a remote-first position, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home office.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or damages to received goods.
• Securely store and organize received inventory in designated locations.
• Process outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders according to customer specifications and shipping guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments, including receipts, inventory levels, and shipping logs.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments (procurement, logistics, warehouse) and external carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and accuracy within the Shipping and Receiving department.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping and receiving or warehouse environment (preferred, but not mandatory for freshers).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to lift and maneuver moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).
