Summary

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our HR team. In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including providing support with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. You'll also have the opportunity to partner with other HR professionals and business leaders to develop and implement HR initiatives that support our company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Provide ongoing support to employees with benefits administration, payroll inquiries, and other HR-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Stay abreast of current HR laws and regulations and ensure compliance within the organization.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
  • Assist with employee relations matters, including performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Barclays' culture and values and promote them throughout the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Human Resources role (for experienced professionals) or a strong desire to learn and grow in the HR field (for recent graduates).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for building strong relationships and fostering a positive work environment.

Experience

This role is open to both experienced HR professionals and recent graduates. For experienced professionals, we are looking for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. Recent graduates with a strong academic background and a desire to learn are also encouraged to apply.
